LIBERI NANTES nINe FEST_6 November 2016
#LIBERININE
On 6 November 2016, at the April 25th Stadium in Pietralata, we celebrate our first nine years of activity!
Years of sport, redemption and hope, of shared walks and meetings at the Italian school, to offer instruments of integration and coexistence. Nine years of hopes, hard work and victories that we want to celebrate with all of you!
The morning will be dedicated the fourth championship matchday when Liberi Nantes FC takes on Ferraris Villanova.
At the same time there will be a walking tour of Pietralata, taking in everything from botany to Pasolini.
At lunchtime, everyone will head for the April 25th Stadium, where traditional dishes from around the world will be served to a background of Brazilian music provided by the Coletivo Do Bigode group.
In the afternoon there will be a discussion about the exploitation of migrant workers. We will talk to Fabio Ciconte (from the charity Terra!), Marco Omizzolo (from Associazione InMigrazione) and Lorenzo Misuraca (from Associazione daSud).
Afterwards there will be a tournament of “dancing” football with the enjoyable musical intervention of the youngsters from Samba Precario.
The festivities will end, as every birthday should, with best wishes, a cake and a surprise that will involve the neighbouring community from the parish of San Michele Arcangelo, with whom we have provided an important service for the neighbourhood.
The day is organised with the support of Unar and the collaboration of the daSud antimafia association, the InMigrazione association, the charity Terra!, the Circolo Arci Pietralata, the Calcio Solidale network, the Officina Culturale Via Libera and the Uisp Rome Committee. And with the additional collaboration of Radio Città Futura, through the programme “The city is all mine”, which airs on Saturdays at 11am.
The event will also include a round table entitled Welcome shelters in Rome and relations with the area organised by Liberi Nantes and due to take place on Saturday November 5 at the April 25th Stadium. A space for dialogue on the theme of the welcome in Rome and related issues.
SEE YOU THERE!
