Switch on the mind, turn off the prejudice
This is the slogan which has been chosen for the twelfth edition of the Week of Action Against Racism, which from today will put forward a rich programme of events throughout the country aimed at the raising awareness of all those involved of the issues surround multi-ethnicity, to combat all forms of discrimination generated by fear and prejudice, with a view towards inclusiveness.
We will be there too tomorrow to make our contribution, using the tool most familiar to us – sport – taking to the pitch at the April 25th Stadium to meet the girls of Roma Women’s Football in a match which promises to be a showcase for the beauty of diversity.
The occasion, organised thanks to the UNAR (The National Office Against Racial Discrimination) of the Department of Equal Opportunities, will take place on Tuesday, March 15, at 7pm in Via Marica 80 in Pietralata.
