Ogni inizio anno segna un passaggio, inevitabile fare bilanci, mettere in archivio e fare memoria prima di accogliere il nuovo con rinnovate aspettative e speranze.
Il 2015 per Liberi Nantes è stato un anno intenso, che ricorderemo senza ombra di dubbio e che salutiamo con particolare affetto.
Resta ben saldo, forte di quanto è stato costruito, alle spalle di un 2016 che avrà così la giusta spinta per partire in grande e proseguire sempre meglio.
Nell’album dei ricordi finiscono tante immagini significative del nostro lavoro, vogliamo menzionarne alcune sapendo già che ne stiamo dimenticando tantissime altre.
Facciamo scorrere il film delle istantanee per ricordarci della nostra partecipazione alla Social Street di Pietralata, quando armati di rastrelli e scope siamo andati a rendere più pulita la piazza del quartiere insieme a tanti volontari delle altre associazioni ♦-♦-♦ Ricordiamo la magnifica giornata di presentazione della rete del Calcio Solidale allo Stadio Olimpico che ci ha visto tra i primissimi promotori ♦-♦-♦ L’aver ospitato i festeggiamenti di un importante anniversario storico nel nostro campo che ne porta il nome, il XXV Aprile, con i rappresentanti del IV Municipio ♦-♦-♦ La nostra adesione alla campagna di raccolta di indumenti e generi di conforto per i profughi della tendopoli della Stazione Tiburtina ♦-♦-♦ La premiazione della nostra associazione in occasione della Giornata Mondiale del Rifugiato alla Città dell’Altra Economia ♦-♦-♦ Il piccolo film degli studenti della Scuola Media Giorgio Perlasca che ci hanno inseriti nel racconto della loro esplorazione nel quartiere di Pietralata ♦-♦-♦ La partecipazione alla Conferenza Europea della rete FARE a Barcellona, col consueto scambio di idee con tante realtà europee che come noi sfruttano il Calcio per abbattere le barriere del razzismo, del sessismo, della discriminazione e della violenza ♦-♦-♦ La consegna della nostra storica maglia a Samuel Eto’o che ci ha concesso di andarlo a trovare nel ritiro della Sampdoria ♦-♦-♦ La partnership con l’AS Roma e il sostegno di Sisal Matchpoint, compagni di viaggio importanti che ci fanno guardare al futuro con ottimismo ♦-♦-♦ La consueta coinvolgente partecipazione ai Mondiali Antirazzisti di Castelfranco Emilia ♦-♦-♦ La realizzazione di importantissime opere di ammodernamento e di manutenzione del XXV Aprile che abbiamo realizzato con il nostro Work Team composto da uomini immensi che hanno attraversato mari e deserti per venirci ad insegnare cosa significa ricominciare da zero portando bellezza e sviluppo in un luogo pubblico come il XXV Aprile ♦-♦-♦ La storica e incredibile partita contro le Vecchie Glorie della Roma in quell’11 ottobre che non dimenticheremo mai con le tribune del nostro campo stracolme di spettatori e di entusiasmo ♦-♦-♦ Gli short-film del theGuardian e di Copa 90, i servizi della BBC Radio, di Rai Sport, de LaRepubblica e di tantissime altre testate nazionali, locali e di settore che ci hanno seguito e accompagnato costantemente ♦-♦-♦ La rinnovata fiducia dell’UNHCR che guarda al nostro progetto sempre con grande attenzione e simpatia ♦-♦-♦ Lo spettacolo teatrale “Pier Paolo!” andato in scena al XXV Aprile voluto e diretto da Giorgio Barberio Corsetti e dedicato a Pasolini che al XXV Aprile era di casa, un’altra memorabile giornata di cultura e d’amore per Pietralata ♦-♦-♦ L’inserimento del progetto Liberi Nantes tra le 12 Buone Pratiche selezionate dal CONI a livello nazionale in tema di Sport e Integrazione ♦-♦-♦ Il reportage fotografico Football Asylum curato da Laura Montanari, Claudio Cesarano e Marco Mastrojanni che ci hanno seguito lungo tutta la stagione agonistica ♦-♦-♦ Il riconoscimento e il sostegno del Football Supporters Europe che ha voluto premiare il nostro progetto ♦-♦-♦ La partecipazione ad una lezione degli studenti di Pedagogia dell’Università La Sapienza che ci hanno chiesto di raccontare il nostro lavoro con i migranti forzati ♦-♦-♦ L’inizio della nuova attività di Atletica Leggera che va ad arricchire ancora di più le possibilità di fare sport gratuitamente per i migranti forzati, grazie alla pista messa a disposizione dalla Uisp Roma all’interno dell’Impianto Sportivo Fulvio Bernardini ♦-♦-♦ E infine la nostra Assemblea annuale dei soci che è stata l’occasione per fare il punto su tutte le attività dell’associazione, scambiarci idee e gettare le basi per l’anno a venire.
Salutiamo dunque il 2015 con grande nostalgia perché ci lascia in eredità una Liberi Nantes in continua evoluzione, con una partecipazione alle nostre attività in forte crescita con oltre 250 ragazze e ragazzi coinvolti con il Football Club (team ufficiale ed open team), l’Escursionismo, l’Atletica Leggera, la Scuola di Italiano ed il Work Team. In decisa crescita anche il numero di volontari coinvolti che stanno rafforzando la nostra struttura organizzativa apportando nuovo entusiasmo e nuove competenze, così come in forte crescita sono i rapporti con le istituzioni cittadine e quelli con tante importantissime realtà del terzo settore a Roma e in Italia.
Un ultimo sguardo indietro ma è già tempo di rimettersi in marcia. A noi, a chi ci segue e ci sostiene con crescente partecipazione auguriamo un 2016 denso di sogni nella speranza che se ne possano realizzare il maggior numero possibile.
[:en]Every year marks a passage, a time to take stock and file away memories before letting in the new with renewed hopes and expectations.
For Liberi Nantes, 2015 was an intense year that we will always remember and that we say goodbye to with a special affection.
It remains firmly rooted, strengthened by all that was created, beneath a 2016 that will have the right impulse to begin well and always get better.
In our album of memories, there are many meaningful images of our work. We want to mention some of them, knowing full well that we are forgetting many others.
Let’s roll the snapshots to remember our participation in the Pietralata Social Street, when, armed with rakes and brushes, we went to help clean up the local neighbourhood square, together with many volunteers from other associations ♦-♦-♦ We remember the magnificent day of the presentation at the Olympic Stadium of the Calcio Solidale network, of which we were among the original promoters ♦–♦–♦ Hosting the celebration of an important and historic anniversary [Liberation Day, April 25th], of which our ground which carries the name, the April 25th Stadium, with representatives from the local council ♦–♦–♦ Our joining the campaign to collect clothes and other items of comfort for the refugees at the tent city at Tiburtina Station ♦–♦–♦ The award to our association on the occasion of World Refugee Day at the Città dell’Altra Economia [a centre in Rome dedicated to sustainable agriculture and commerce] ♦–♦–♦ The short film by students of Giorgio Perlasca Middle School, who included us in their story of the exploration of the Pietralata neighbourhood ♦–♦–♦ Our participation in the European Conference of FARE in Barcelona, with the usual exchange of ideas with other Europeans, who, like use, use football to break down barriers of racism, sexism, discrimination and violence ♦–♦–♦ The handing over of our historic team shirt to Samuel Eto’o, who allowed us to go and see him in Sampdoria’s training camp ♦–♦–♦ The partnership with AS Roma and the support of Sisal Matchpoint, important fellow travellers who enable us to view the future with optimism ♦–♦–♦ Our usual involvement in the Antiracist World Cup in Castelfranco Emilia ♦–♦–♦ The completion of very important modernisation and maintenance work at the April 25th Stadium, which we carried out with our Work Team made up of immense men who have travelled the seas and deserts to be here to teach what it means to start again from scratch, bringing beauty and progress to a public space like the April 25th ♦–♦–♦ The historic and incredible match against the AS Roma Legends team on that October 11th that we will never forget, with the stands of our ground packed with fans and full of enthusiasm ♦–♦–♦ The short films of The Guardian and Copa90, programmes on BBC Radio, Rai Sport, La Repubblica and many other important national, local and specialist publications that have followed us and stuck by us constantly ♦–♦–♦ The renewed trust of the UNHCR which has always followed our project with attention and sympathy ♦–♦–♦ The play “Pier Paolo” which was staged at the April 25th Stadium, directed by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti and dedicated to Pasolini, who was at home at the April 25th. It was another memorable day of culture and love for Pietralata ♦–♦–♦ The inclusion of the Liberi Nantes project among the 12 examples of Best Practice on the theme of Sport and Integration chosen by CONI [the Italian Olympic Committee] at a national level ♦–♦–♦ The photo reportage “Football Asylum” curated by Laura Montanari, Claudio Cesenaro and Marco Mastrojanni who followed us throughout the football season ♦–♦–♦ The recognition and support of Football Supporters Europe, who wanted to reward our project ♦–♦–♦ The participation in a lesson of the students of Pedagogy at the Sapienza University, who asked us to talk of our work with forced migrants ♦–♦–♦ Starting up the new activity of athletics which helped further enrich the possibility of providing free sport for forced migrants, thanks to the running track made available by the UISP of Roma inside the Fulvio Bernadini Stadium ♦–♦–♦ And finally, our annual members’ assembly, which was the occasion to discuss all the association’s activities, exchange ideas and put down the base for the coming year.
So we say goodbye to 2015 with great nostalgia because it leaves us a Liberi Nantes and continuing evolution, with participation levels in our activities in constant growth: over 250 boys and girls involved in the Football Club (both the official team and the open team), hiking, athletics, the Italian School and the Work Team.
The number of volunteers who are helping us reinforce our organisation’s structures is also growing, and bringing new enthusiasm and new skills. Similarly, our relations with the city’s institutions and other important service providers in Rome and in Italy are also becoming much stronger.
One last look back, but it’s already time to get moving. To us, to those who follow and support us with growing involvement, we wish a 2016 rich with dreams, in the hope that as many of those dreams as possible will come true.
