Domani 5 giugno una nostra piccola delegazione sarà in Umbria per l’ultima giornata del Festival del calcio e dello Sport, iniziato già lo scorso 2 giugno.
…ma cos’è il Festival del Calcio di Perugia?
[…]racconta lo sport non solo come fenomeno sportivo o come fenomeno sociale, ma anche come emozione, spettacolo e immaginario collettivo. Come racconto epico, ma anche come storie individuali di persone. Come tessuto dell’identità nazionale e come modo per capire qualcosa in più della vita e della società. Come una lingua universale: la prima parola che i bimbi imparano. Giocando.[…]
Un festival sportivo dunque, ma nell’ottica della narrazione, del tramandare attraverso le testimonianze di tanti ospiti, dalle leggende del calcio italiano alle realtà come la nostra.
In particolar modo riportiamo da programma l’incontro al quale siamo stati invitati per portare la nostra storia:

IL CALCIO È UN GIOCO SENZA FRONTIERE: Real De Banjul vs Liberi Nantes
Un incontro dedicato a rispetto e inclusione sociale che avrà come ospiti i giocatori di Liberi Nantes (con il presidente Alberto Urbinati) e Afrotiberina Real De Banjul (con l’allenatore Giacomo Barni), due squadre di calcio composte da rifugiati e richiedenti asilo, e Itamar Silva direttore di IBASE-Istituto brasiliano di analisi sociali ed economiche, ed organizzatore del Campus “Colônia de Férias” realizzato per promuovere il diritto al gioco nella Favela di Santa Marta a Rio de Janeiro che presenterà l’attività di cooperazione internazionale realizzata in sinergia con Zero in Condotta.
A seguire, verrà proiettato e presentato dal regista, il film di Piero Li Donni “Loro di Napoli”.

Tomorrow, June 5, we are sending a small delegation to Umbria for the last day of the Festival of Football and Sport, which began on June 2.

A sporting festival, therefore, but in the context of narrative, of handing down through the first-person accounts of many guests, from the legends of football to realities like our own.
In particular, we highlight from the programme the meeting at which we were invited to tell our story:

FOOTBALL IS A GAME WITHOUT BORDERS: Real De Banjul vs Liberi Nantes
A meeting dedicated to respect and social inclusion, which will feature as guests the players of Liberi Nantes (with the president Alberto Urbinati) and of Afrotiberina Real De Banjul (with the manager Giacomo Barni) – two football teams made up of refugees and asylum seekers. Also present will be Itamar Silva, director of IBASE (The Brazilian Institute of Social and Economic Analysis), and organiser of the “Colônia de Férias” Campus, created to promote the right to play in the Favela of Santa Marta, in Rio de Janeiro. He will present this activity of international cooperation together with Zero in Condotta.
Afterwards, the film “Loro di Napoli”, directed by Piero Li Donni, will be shown, and will be presented by the director himself.
