Il 10 Maggio scorso è finito il nostro settimo campionato consecutivo nella III Categoria della Lega Nazionale Dilettanti di Roma.
Abbiamo vinto tanto quest’anno, in campo e fuori dal campo. In campo sono arrivate 16 vittorie su 26 partite con un gioco spumeggiante che in alcuni momenti della stagione è stato esaltante. Il campionato ce lo siamo giocati a viso aperto, pensando molto a come arrivare al gol e poco a come evitare di prenderlo, abbiamo giocato e lasciato giocare, ci piace così.
Virtualmente siamo arrivati secondi, abbiamo battuto o comunque messo in seria difficoltà le squadre che sono state promosse o che si stanno giocando la promozione ai play-off. Noi non possiamo giocarcela, è cosa nota che una squadra come la nostra non può partecipare al pari delle altre. Continua a penalizzarci un regolamento ormai decisamente anacronistico che non prevede spazio per chi come noi vuole portare nello sport di base i valori della pace e della fratellanza attraverso il gioco.
Pensiamo che sia una scelta miope, poco lungimirante, ma finché avremo le forze per farlo continueremo a iscriverci al campionato della LND perché è lì che vogliamo stare, nel campionato che giocano tutti gli altri.
A questo campionato, che ogni anno perde moltissime squadre che non ce la fanno a sostenere i costi di iscrizione e di gestione, noi portiamo spesso una visibilità che senza la nostra presenza non avrebbe. Invitiamo gli organi competenti a riflettere su queste regole che nel mondo del dilettantismo hanno ormai fatto il loro tempo, dal superamento di queste barriere mentali il calcio di base trarrebbe soltanto benefici.
Stavamo per vincere nettamente la Coppa Disciplina, a 3 giornate dal termine eravamo primi assoluti tra tutte le squadre che disputano il Campionato di III Categoria della Lega Nazionale Dilettanti della Provincia di Roma. Primi su 47 squadre. Poi purtroppo è successo che alla terzultima giornata eravamo convinti di dover giocare alle 15 mentre l’orario ufficiale era stato fissato alle 11 e così ci siamo presentati in ritardo, abbiamo giustamente perso la partita a tavolino e ci siamo pure beccati una bella multa con conseguente penalizzazione nella speciale graduatoria della Coppa Disciplina. Un vero peccato, una distrazione però che non coinvolge i nostri ragazzi ma il gruppo che ne coordina le attività. Insomma i nostri ragazzi sono stati quasi perfetti, noi un po’ meno ma è stato davvero un incidente fortuito che può capitare.
Senza questo sfortunato episodio su sette partecipazioni al campionato questa sarebbe stata la terza vittoria nella Coppa Disciplina. Tre su sette, una percentuale altissima che racconta molto di cos’è Liberi Nantes e dei valori che incarna.
Ogni anno ripartiamo da zero, con una squadra che nella maggior parte dei casi dobbiamo ricostruire quasi completamente, ma ogni anno ripartiamo dalla parola chiave del nostro progetto: rispetto.
Rispetto che ogni componente della squadra deve avere prima di tutto per se stesso, poi per i propri compagni di squadra, per lo staff tecnico, i dirigenti e tutti i volontari che ogni giorno rendono possibile questa straordinaria avventura. Si parte da noi e viene quindi naturale assumere gli atteggiamenti giusti in campo verso gli avversari e gli arbitri, è per questo che siamo sempre tra le squadre più corrette della categoria, è uno dei nostri principali obiettivi e investiamo energie e risorse per ottenere questi risultati.
Vogliamo concludere questa stagione agonistica coi doverosi ringraziamenti per tutti ma in particolare per gli splendidi ragazzi che hanno portato a termine questa nuova bellissima cavalcata.

The 10th May ended our 7th Championship in the Third category of the Amator League of FIGC of Rome.
We won a lot this year, inside and outside the pitch. We won 16 matches on 26 ones with a very sparkling way of playing, in some moment of the season was really exciting. We play our tournament facing each Sunday, thinking how to make goal and not how to avoid to get it, we play and let the other play, this is how we like it.
Virtually we arrived second in the rank, we win against the teams which have been promoted or they are playing in the play-off for rising in the second category.
We can not really play for a victory, this is a story everybody know because our team is out of the rules. We are penalised by a regulation that now it is really anachronistic, which denies the possibility to whom, like us, wants to bring peace and friendship through football.
We think that this is a very shortsighted choice, but we will never surrender, we will register again at the Tournament, because it is exactly there that we want to stay, in the Championship open to all the other.
This tournament loses every year many clubs, which can not support the costs for the registraion and the management, but we bring often a visibility that without us maybe it shouldn’t be. We invite all the authorities to reflect about this regulation, that in the world of the amator sport is really unbelievable, break down this barrier should offer football many benefits.
We could win the Discipline Cup 3 match-days before the end of the tournament we were first in the rank of all the clubs which play in the different rounds of third category First on 47 teams. Then it happens that in the end we have in mind to play at 3 o’clock AM, but the official time was 11 AM, and so we didn’t arrive in time, we of course lost the match and had a fine, sand also some penalisation points the in special rank of the Discilpine Cup. It is a shame, a distraction which doesn’t involve the guys of the team, but the management. Our guys have been almost perfect, not like us, but it is a mishap can happen everybody.
Without this unfortunate episode on 7 participation to this tournament we would have the third Disciplin Cup. Tree on seven, a very high percentage which tells a lot about what it is Liberi Nantes and the values at the base of the association.
Every year we start from zero, with a team that for the majority we have to build as completely newm but every year we start again from the key word of our project: respect
Respect that each person should have first for himself, then for his teammates, for the staff and all the volunteers that everyday work hard because this adventure goes on.
It is natural to have the right behaviours in the football pitch towards the opponents and the referees, and for this reason we are always among the most correct team in the category, it is one of the first objective and we invest lot of energy and resources to reach these results.
We want to conclude this season with lot of thanks for all, but in particular for our fantastic guys, who finish with us this new and fantastic adventure.
