Succede che nel bel mezzo dell’estate, quando il campionato è già finito e si riprende un po’ il fiato, spunti nella casella di posta elettronica una richiesta.
Qualcuno è interessato alla nostra squadra, vuole conoscerci di persona, chiede di poter venire a trovarci appena possibile.
Scoprire il nostro modo di fare calcio e non solo, contestualizzarlo nei diversi pezzi che compongono la realtà che circonda rifugiati e richiedenti asilo nel nostro Paese oggi.
Affacciarsi sulle loro storie ed il loro quotidiano attraverso la nostra finestra, che resta quella tanto significativa quanto leggera del gioco.
Raccontarlo all’Europa e al mondo, perché questo qualcuno è una delle principali testate giornalistiche attive ad oggi.
Abbiamo così aperto con enorme piacere le porte del Campo XXV Aprile a Naomi Westland e Tom Goudsmit dal Guardian alla prima occasione utile, ovvero i provini per la formazione della nuova squadra;
hanno così raccolto con entusiasmo parole ed immagini per trasformarle nel documentario da loro appena pubblicato, che condividiamo con particolare orgoglio.

t happens that in the middle of the summer, when the championship is ended and we are taking a rest, in our webmail came out an email with a request. Someone is interested in our team, he wants to meet us, and asks to come as soon as possible.
The idea is to understand our way to do football and not only, to analyse the contest where refuges and asylum seekers live here in Italy.
It is a sort of looking from a special windows which are the refugees’ stories through the special and smart lens of football.
The goal is tell our story to the world, because who wrote as the email is one of the most important newspaper.
So with lot of pleasure we opened the door of XXV Aprile to Naomi Westland e Tom Goudsmit of Guardian when it was possible, during the trials for composing the new team.
The collected with lot of enthusiasm words and images, transforming in a documentary just published, that we share with great pride.
