Il 20 Giugno si celebra la Giornata Mondiale del Rifugiato, un giorno per riflettere insieme sul dramma di milioni di persone costrette a lasciare il proprio paese a causa di conflitti, violenze e persecuzioni.
Il nostro 20 Giugno sarà diviso tra Roma e Firenze per rispondere a due inviti prestigiosi.
A Roma di mattina a Palazzo Chigi saremo ospiti dell’UNAR, l’Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali e insieme a noi ci saranno gli amici della RFC Lions Caserta. Entrambe le squadre nella stagione sportiva appena conclusa hanno vinto la Coppa Disciplina nei rispettivi campionati, due squadre che fanno del rispetto uno dei valori fondamentali alla base del proprio lavoro e questi risultati ne sono la conferma più evidente.
Insieme a noi ci saranno esponenti importanti della FIGC, dell’associazione Carta di Roma e della rete FARE, tutti insieme per rimarcare il ruolo fondamentale che lo Sport può assumere nel processo di integrazione dei rifugiati e richiedenti asilo.
A Firenze nel tardo pomeriggio saremo invece ospiti dell’UNHCR Italia in occasione del concerto che si terrà alla Visarno Arena e che vedrà alternarsi sul palco tantissimi artisti a sostegno della campagna #WithRefugees.
Ci saremo con un video e saremo intervistati per raccontare il nostro progetto che da sempre ha il patrocinio dell’UNHCR.
Di mattina sempre a Firenze uno dei nostri ragazzi parteciperà alla conferenza stampa di presentazione del concerto e sarà in compagnia di altri importanti esponenti delle istituzioni. A Soumaila che ci rappresenterà in conferenza stampa va il nostro in bocca al lupo, sicuri che saprà raccontarci nel migliore dei modi.
Una giornata davvero ricca che ci riserverà molte emozioni, che sicuramente entrerà nel nostro album dei ricordi ma che ci spingerà anche a credere ancora di più nel nostro lavoro per continuare a migliorarlo e renderlo sempre più efficace.

On June 20, the world celebrates International Refugee Day, a day to reflect together on the drama of millions of people forced to leave their countries due to conflict, violence and persecution.
Our June 20 will be divided between Rome and Florence so we can take up two prestigious invitations.
In Rome, in the morning, we will be guests of UNAR, the National Office Against Racial Discrimination, at Palazzo Chigi. Our friends from RFC Lions Caserta will be there with us. Both teams won the Disciplinary Cup in their respective leagues in the season just completed – two teams that make respect one of the founding values of their work. These results are a strong confirmation of this.
We will be joined by important figures from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the Carta di Roma association, and the FARE network, and together we will all underline the important role played by sport in the process of integration of refugees and asylum seekers.
In Florence, in the late afternoon, we will be guests of UNHCR Italy on the occasion of the concert that will be held at the Visarno Arena, during which many artists will take the stage to support the #WithRefugees campaign. We will be interviewed so we can tell the story of our project, one that has always had the patronage of the UNHCR.
In the morning in Florence, one of our lads will take part in the press conference to present the concert where he will be in the company of other important institutional figures. To Soumaila, who will be representing us, we wish the best of luck, secure in the knowledge that he will be able to tell our story in the best possible way.
It promises to be a really rich day that will be full of emotion and which will surely enter our album of memories and encourage us to believe even more in our work so we can keep improving and becoming more and more effective.
